Good news and Bad news and news news

Hey folks, thanks for following me and sticking with me this whole time. I would like to make a few announcements - starting with some bad news. The Some Photog Tumblog will no longer be used by me. While it will remain online, no new updates will be posted. I simply have not been satisfied with the images cell phones capture, and I think I’m doing you, my audience an injustice. However, this leads to two new tumblr projects that I am very excited about:

Back to the Streets

I’ve always had a soft spot for photojournalism and street photography. This is the manifestation of that! I shoot hundreds of images a week, and I cue them up to be posted here. Check it out and follow, it’s really great stuff!

Fog City Journal

This is my official 365 photo project. I know, same theme as “Back to the streets” but I just love the room and attention it gives the photos. Also quite excited about this, I’ve never done a 365 project before.

Print Give Away

I’m giving away the following prints to those who retweet the link, blog about it or share it on Facebook. The winner will be announced on July 1st.

You can enter HERE.

500px

Last but not least, I am now on the photo sharing network 500px. If you’re on give me a shout out and follow me!

Thanks for everything, all of you.

Sorry - My bad

Due to some serious limitations of my new tumblog’s theme, (only being able to post 15 pictures, no support for text etc) I have changed it completely, along with a new domain. Check out Back to the Streets and join in on the love of Photojournalism.

On a more serious note…

The some photog-tumblog has always been about what I see during every day life. A lot of things are funny or ironic, but since I take them with my little camera phone, I don’t have much of an attachment to the final images.

With the purchase of a new rangefinder camera however, my day to day picture taking has come easier and at a much higher quality. Check it out.
